For decades, PCS has developed reliable power converters and electrical equipment for use in rail vehicles. Competences in the areas converter construction, control technology, interface design, and simulation, as well as project management are now deployed for use in the wind power industry.

Reponsibility for projects of the category C, D and R/P (in accordance with PPC Project Portfolio Management):

• Independent customer contact as primary (sole) customer contact person ("single point of contact") from NTP (notification to proceed / project start confirmation) for the individual projects
• Mainly responsible for project planning with the department involved at project start
• Project tracking and management for delivery according to contract with optimisation of project margin
• Project close-out with project team

Sales support:

• Appraisal of relevant project management expenses for offers in coordination with the responsible Bid Manager
• Carrying out a necessary risk analysis and drawing up an integrated risk assessment report for offer/Blue Book
• Exchange of experiences (lessons learned) with the responsible Bid Manager during offer phase and support within customer negiotiations to facilitate high quality of PCS offers

• Successfully completed degree in engineering/industrial or engineering/business studies with a technical inclination and experience
• Several years of professional experience in the area of sales and additional experience in the area of project management and acquisition of projects in a vehicle power supply company or in the investment business
• High resistance to stress and a positive level of perseverance in customer negotiations
• Written and spoken knowledge of English and German capable of conducting negotiations
• Very good negotiation skills between individuals as well as in large work groups and self-confident manner in dealings with customers
• Knowledge of PC applications including all regular Microsoft programs, in particular Excel and Power Point
• Independent, goal-oriented and analytic, flexibile, committment, ability to deal with conflicts and to work in a team, creative and ability to make decisions
• Ability to work in or manage international teams as well as a willingness to undertake numerous business trips
