• Project engineering of power converter systems for use in industry, in the field of regenerative energies and in energy supply of rail vehicles including associated protective and automation systems
• Evaluation and analysis of technical customer specifications and relevant provisions
• Selection and dimensioning of components
• Production of parts lists and circuit diagrams
• Production of the guidelines for the constructional design of components
• Technical consultation with suppliers and customers
• Production of type test guidelines, performance of type tests and evaluation of the measurements
• Support of the services on commissioning and performance of measurements at clients' premises
• Drafting and maintenance of operating instructions, product information, application notes and technical information, including project-specific documentation
• Assistance in conducting customer training

• Graduate in electrical engineering from university or university of applied sciences (Fachhochschule)
• Knowledge of automation and control technology
• Knowledge of the CAD system for generating circuit diagrams would be a benefit
