For decades, PCS has developed reliable power converters and electrical equipment for use in rail vehicles and high-dynamic industrial applications. Competences in the areas converter construction, control technology, interface design, and simulation, as well as project management are now deployed for use in the wind power industry.

Your responsibilities are the conception, design, trial and monitoring of converters and systems for propulsion and energy supply systems.

• Specification of systems or components according to customer specifications
• Development and adjustment of the device's electric interface
• Electrical and thermal design, including circuit simulation in Matlab/Simulink
• Specification of the components for purchasing (magnetics, heat sink, fan, power supplies, etc.)
• Development and adjustment of specifications for construction and monitoring constructive implementation
• Coordination of interfaces and requirements for the device's control software with the software developers
• Carrying out electrical and thermal tests in the workshop as in the system, typetest of the converter
• Startup and training of customers
• Drawing up documentation accompanying development, including preliminary work for training documentation

• Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, with focus on power electronics
• Several years of professional experience in the area of electrical engineering
• Confident written and spoken knowledge of English
• Experience with simulation with Matlab/Simulink, Simplorer
